David Allen Soesbee would have been voted least likely to succeed in high school, most likely to be incarcerated, and probably dead by age 30. On April 22nd, 1989 at age 23 a miracle changed his life forever. David accepted the awesome grace God offers all of us through the death of his son Jesus Christ. Now he eats, sleeps and breaths what God has done in his life to youth and adults alike. In 1994 David committed his life to serve the Lord and went back to school at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute. During School he worked as pastoral intern for West Asheville Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. James Johnson. He was also the director of college and singles. He graduated in December 1996 and since then David has put his soul, heart, and energies into doing the Lords work through a ministry he has developed called Touch Ministries. Touch Ministries deals directly with his call to share how God can touch and change a life forever.
His experience comes from many different opportunities. One of those opportunities came in sharing his testimony at the 1996 Atlanta, the 2000 Sydney, Australia summer Olympics and the 2004 Athen games. The other came by way of his special relationship with bands such as Third Day, P.O.D., Audio Adrenaline and Steve Green. He was also involved in raw evangelistic ministry to the public and bands alike during such events as Woodstock 99 in New York. Whether it is Ryan Klesko of the San Diego Padres baseball team or the cashier at McDonalds in every day life each moment is an opportunity for sharing Christ and what a difference He has made in Davids life. David
takes these unique experiences and shares them with everyone. He speaks
from his heart to children at Juvenile Detention Centers, to youth groups
and church congregations. He has also had numerous opportunities to speak
during concerts performed by various music artists such as Third Day,
Audio A, P.O.D, and Steve Green. David is living proof that Gods
business is life changing inside and out. Davids ministry is to
the seemingly unreachable people like himself who need to know Gods
unconditional loving touch. |
