Well today is the July 28th, 2006 and I did an Evangelism/Discipleship course for a group of youth and church leaders throughout Kota Kinabalu tonight.  It was a good size group from several different churches. 

Satan is pretty angry at me for all that is taking place here. He has been working pretty hard to get me down and discouraged while I'm here.  I had some stuff stolen from me the first day I was here from the airport flying from KL to KK.  And then I went to an island and had more stuff stolen, which was pretty much all the money I had for the this trip of 5 weeks. Now its three days before I will engage in intense sharing and preaching with local people, but let me share with you what God has placed against Satan and his lies and attacks.

The people here have risen up and have been a strong support of encouragement to me and just really loved on me. They have supported me in every way possible.  They took a love offering up on Saturday night during the concert. Now when youth concerts come along you don't expect much, but this was a huge surprise and blessing.  The kids gave above and over the expectations of any group of kids ever have, I have enough money to finish out the trip without worries. Thanks to Powerhouse and all that came to the concert!

Speaking of the concert, its was so awesome and there was no room for any more people.  There was a line outside going down the road going both ways and a steady stream of people just kept coming.  The concert was so good with Powerhouse FM band bringing some awesome praise and worship.  Then there was dance teams sharing with interpretive dances three times during the concert, and they did an awesome job.  Then I had the chance to get up and share.  I felt so much freedom from the platform sharing.  It came time for an altar call and I was just praying for one person to move, and the front filled up with people making a first time decision and then those rededicating. It was an awesome time of praising the Lord with those who were surrendering their lives to the King of Heaven.  I had an awesome time working with the kids and they did an awesome job and put in a lot of hard work and it showed! Thanks for sticking with it and for your servant hearts for the Lord, many blessings to you all.

Sunday morning worship service was a blast also.  I had a chance to preach and hopefully brought a challenging message to the church family and the body of Christ.  The people who responded to the invitation came forward and gave their lives to the Lord, asking for prayer. I had a chance to lead one girl after the service to the Lord after everyone was gone.  She had just been adopted by a loving family.  She will be 17 on August 15th, they day after my birthday!  I ask you to keep her in prayer as God will be doing a lot of things in her life and I pray that many believers will love and encourage her in her walk with the Lord.

So far this trip has been a blessing to me and a huge encouragement to me and I realize more and more everyday that we as the body of Christ need to step up the pace and fight for those that have not yet found out about our loving savior Jesus Christ, Amen.  No matter what Satan throws at me, God keeps doing more and more miracles and I keep getting stronger and stronger each time.  Thank you Lord for your support and love, your are truly amazing.
