a word from Pastor Dave....March 22, 2005

February has come and gone.  It was a good time with an awesome time of ministry at Francis Marion University.  I went back for my second time in the past two years to speak to BCM (Baptist College Ministry).  This year was bigger than last year with some of the graduates coming back for the night.  The Message was on "What's in a Name".  I gave an invitation and had several make a decision for Christ. It was an awesome time and I loved spending time with the students at FMU.  I had a chance to video tape the message and will be putting it on DVD. The sound is not what I want it to be but I am trying to learn how to improve the sound and learn how to use the equipment the best way I can.

It has been a blessing this year to go on Winter Jam dates with Toby Mac, Tait, Newsong, Overflow, Matthew West, Rachael Lampa and Building 429.   With 27 dates totaling over 127,000 and with that over 7000 people making a decision for Christ.  It has been one of the best Winter Jam tours in the past 7 Years that I have been able to be apart of.  I have many dates that are filling up for this year and I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for the me and the ministry.

On March 20th 2005 I spoke at Lillington Baptist Church at a new service that has been started.  The new service is a contemporary service at night and they had a record high of about 90.  It was a good night with 18 people coming forward and four of those were first time decisions for Christ. The rest were rededications.  It was an awesome time and I look forward to seeing what God is going to do at the church in the future.  Please Keep me and Touch Ministries in prayer as I travel and preach and encourage those I come in contact with.  I love traveling and sharing with others about the Love and Joy of Christ.  Thanks you all for your time and support for the ministry.  Many blessings to you and your loved ones.
